WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 15

CLASS	HOMEWORK (OR WHAT STUDENTS DID IN CLASS THAT DAY)
LANGUAGE ARTS:	- Timeline - Autobiography - students may have questions to ask family to help them with information about when they were younger
MATH	- Xtra Math App - basic skills practice -Finished Place Value Unit (review tomorrow...test possibly on Monday)
SOCIAL STUDIES	- Timeline Crossword and CSI Winnipeg (we are working on these in class using a textbook- not homework)
SCIENCE	Hybrid Animal - This is now Homework if incomplete (due tomorrow)
FRENCH	- 'Le mystère du trophée de basket-ball' Story - working on learning the names of the clues

MATH	- Xtra Math App - basic skills practice - Place Value Booklet - Reading and Writing Numbers to Billions - Review COMING UP and then a test. - Line Graph - OVERDUE IF NOT TURNED IN YET
SOCIAL STUDIES	- Timeline Crossword and CSI Winnipeg (we are working on these in class using a textbook- not homework)
SCIENCE	Finishing up our Hybrid Animal creations - tomorrow will be the last class to finish the good copy and then it will be homework if not done
FRENCH	- 'Le mystère du trophée de basket-ball' Story - did a listening assignment and answered questions

Poetic Devices in Songs

Students in 6-03 have been hard at work looking for examples of similes, metaphors and personification in songs. They had to find 2 examples of each and explain what the artist (singer) is really trying to say. They took small parts of videos that include the examples and made their own video to demonstrate an understanding of poetic devices.
